Legal Question in Social Security Law in Florida
My husband died in January at the age of 90. We had a son together that will be 19 in July. When he contacted SSI they said my and my son should have been on SSI every since he was born because my huband was older enough to get SSI but nobody contacted us and we didn't know. Do you just lose this money? They said we should have gotten around 500 plus a month for my son and around 200 plus a month for me all those 18 years.
