Legal Question in Social Security Law in Florida

I receive SSI in Florida for being disabled. I know I'm allowed to work and make up to a certain amount of money without it affecting my benefit amount. I need to know if the same holds true for alimony. I'm starting the paperwork on a pro-se divorce and need this information so I know which type of alimony to ask for. Thank you.

Social Security looks at any economic assest you may have. Alimony may effect your entitlement.
