Legal Question in Social Security Law in Florida

Social Security

My father-in-law was a legal resident of the US and worked here for about 10 years and then retired. His wife died 2 years later.

He went back to his native country where he lived for another 15 years. He also remarried a woman from his native country. They never came back to the US. The question I have is - Is she intitled to recieve Social Security benifits? Thanks

Re: Social Security

A noncitizen may not receive social security unless that noncitizen would qualify for social security as a worker. In other words, noncitizens can't draw social security from their spouses.
