Legal Question in Social Security Law in Florida
In the state of Florida, if my husband dies and we have not been married for 10 years, am I eligible to receive his Social Security Benefit? Thank you so much.

Florida law is not involved, federal statute controls. Under current law surviving spouse receives nothing for such a short marriage.
