Legal Question in Social Security Law in Florida
Hi, I was supposed to get social security money in the mail because my father is on S.S. benefits. I don't live with him. He had the money deposited into his bank account instead of having it sent to me. Will I ever see the money that was supposed to go to me? I already made a claim to the social security department but nothing has happened since.
Thank you!

If he is the payee on your account, then you will have to change the payee to someone else you can trust and then sue him for the funds. If he is not the payee then he has committed a federal crime and you can prosecute.
