Legal Question in Tax Law in Florida

If I live in Fla and work here but was sent to north Carolina for work can my company make me pay north Carolina state taxes

Hi. It's not a matter of your company making you pay anything. State taxes may be owed to the State of North Carolina for work done in North Carolina. Many people who do work in multiple states end up having to fill out state tax returns and paying state taxes in those states. We are fortunate in Florida that we do not have a state income tax.
