i owe 6 years back taxes.is alimony safe from the irs since it is court ordered for me to pay my ex wife even if we reside in the same house at this point?or should i move out?

First, the IRS must recognize a court order. On the other hand, when you complete the 433A Collection Information Statement, your household income is considered. Before you talk to the IRS, you need a tax lawyer.
