Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
I got arrested on April 2nd for a 3rd DUI within 10 years here in Florida. As of yesterday, the online filings show that the prosecution has filed with the status of Amended entered for count 1 (felony DUI), and count 2 (a misdemeanor driving while revoked) filed with the status of Same entered for count 2. Within the filed information for count 1 by the prosecution, it states at the very end after it lays out that I did unlawfully drive and so forth .., contrary to Florida Statute 316.193(2)(b). The other count States .., in violation of Florida Statue 322.34(2)(a). What could this mean?

Simple. They are two distinct charges and the prosecutor filled two formal counts on the charging document.
