Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

i had an auto accident in 2013, was assigned an attorney, who had me go to Chiorpractic treatment for the entire time, racked up a bill of $9,000 plus, then on July 18, 2017, one day before the 4yrs deadline , after calling her several times for update, asking what's happening, only to hear... they need more info.

, i got a call from the attorney that the stature of limitation, is about to end, and i was only offered $8. 000 ,, i asked how am i going to pay the Chiorpractor plus whatever other bills i have? her answer was, maybe out of pocket, ,,i asked out of whose pocket? for the 4yrs she have not done anything for me, now i'm left in this situation, i have checked several other attorneys for help, no one can help because the stature has ran out , My attorney claimed she will file a law suit for more money. If she has not done anything in 4yrs, what can i expect? Please Help what can i do...???

If it is in the contract with your attorney then they can charge up to 40% contingency fee. You need to communicate with your attorney immediately. If you are that unhappy with your attorney then you need to get other Counsel as soon as possible. Once the statue of limitation runs that is usually it. Therefore it is vital that you get your case filed on time.
