Bail
Is there a time limit to bail or bond someone out of jail.

Normally, no. As long as the order setting the bond amount has not be revoked, you can pay the bond, and get your friend out of jail. Occassionally, if the person has been in custody through the entire pretrial phase of the case, and the case is set for trial, the State may seek to revoke the bond, out of concern that the defendant will make bond, and not show up for trial.
