Car accident

My daughter (29) was in a fender bender. She has no insurance, and she owns nothing. What could the person she hit do to her?

Re: Car accident

The fact that she has no insurance does not protect her from suit. The victim, or his insurance company, could still sue her for damages, and potentially get a judgment attaching her wages. Additionally, she could be looking at criminal charges for failing to maintain insurance.

Your daughter should consult an attorney for the purpose of negotiating a settlement with the victim and defending any charges resulting from the incident.
