Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
I was given a citation for speeding (76 in 55 zone) while riding motorcycles with a friend. On the ticket, the officer wrote my current mailing address instead of my permanent address listed on my license without checking the box labelled 'IF DIFFERENT THAN ONE ON DRIVER LICENSE'. Also, the officer recorded my license plate number incorrectly. Would either/both of these discrepancies on a ticket void the citation?

No it would not. In fact the officer can give you a second ticket for not changing your address within 10 days of moving. If you want a chance at beating it, your best bet is to hire yourself an attorney to fight it.
