Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
Ok.. so I was cited with dwls w/k but I was already out of the car and there was no agrrivating factor for the police to even engage a stop for me. They followed me for about a mile into a gated apatment complex and waited til I got out of the car only to order me back into it. Then failed to put a time and correct living info on my citation. Can I plead not guilty n have a case? Thank you. Tk.

Since they saw you driving (even though you weren't actually encountered until after exiting), they can probably prove the driving part. However, you won't know that unless you get the discovery. You need an attorney to review the discovery to see if you have a solid case or not. Certainly for now plea not guilty. Feel free to contact me as I practice in the Tampa area.
