Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
If an employee in a company vehicle on company business, runs a red light doing 50 mph in a 35 mph speed zone, and hits and kills a pedestrian who was lawfully in a crosswalk can any liability be imposed against the company?

If he was acting within the ordinary course of business yes. If he was acting outside the scope of employment, maybe not.
