Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
employment application question
I am asked this question on the empl appl - Have you accepted a disposition of adjudication withheld on any criminal charge? I was arrested for 2 tickets that weren't paid and suspended license unknowingly. My atty/I paid the tickets and license reinstated immediately. Voluntary Delinquent Adjudicated Guilty Charge is what stated on the website for clerk of court. Do I answer yes to the empl app question and was I convicted of a criminal offense based on the above?

Re: employment application question
I think the answer depends on what the charges were.
If the tickets we're traffic criminal tickets, often reflected as "TC", then I think that you would have to awnser Yes.
On the other hand, if the tickets were traffic infractions, often reflected as "TI", then I think that you would be safe answering No.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
