Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

My exhusband has a warrant I am not sure what to do. His warrant is for traffic offenses, He was drinking and hit and killed someone. Waiting on blood results he wants to see my children. I do not want him to. I do not want to get in trouble. What would happen if my child was with him if they came to arrest him? Can I get in trouble for knowing he has a warrant and not calling it in? He also has not given me any money since all this has happened.

It's possible you could get in trouble for obstructing justice. However, how do you know he has a warrant? Did the cops try and serve the warrant? If they came to arrest him while you were with your child, then he would get arrested. He needs to keep his mouth shut and invoke his right to a lawyer though. You both need to speak to separate attorneys since it is possible you may be implicated. Meanwhile, if you feel he is dangerous to you, seek an injunction against him.
