Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
Should I fight a careless driving ticket if the cop told me that she wasn't going to show up. There is a witness. This is in Florida

Do NOT believe the officer. They can get in trouble for telling a witness not to show. So yes, you should fight the ticket and get an attorney to appear as it may not be necessary for you to appear and the attorney can put forth defenses that you may not be aware of. Hire a trained attorney to fight this for you.
