Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

Florida - question on validity of citation

I received a speeding citation but it does not have any information on the vehicle I was in (make, year, tag, etc) printed on it. If a ticket does not have this information, could I get it dismissed due to the technicality?

Maybe. I have found that the courts are dismissing traffic cases far less times based on technicalities due to missing information. Many times a court will allow a police officer to testify in court to fill in any missing information or the information is contained on the copy of the ticket that is submitted to the court. The court's copy has several more lines for information that does your copy of the ticket.
