Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

FLorida. Routine? was told.

Given warning for not having insurance card. I proved I had insurance by pointing out name of company on Registration which was in the officers hand at the time. One year two months later I get bill in the mail from a collection agency wanting 194.50.

Went to County Clerk for dismissal for which he denied. Since wrote Goves office, Atty gen office looking for help.

Charge was: Not having proof of Insurance Card. Massachusetts doesn't have insurance cards but does publish proof of insurance on registration. Making bottom line: Officer didn't read it.

I get billed 194.50 and threat to suspend my license. Question: Where do I go. Who do I see.

Who can remedy this absurd situation.

Traffic or could be collections law?

Your only real solution at this point is to hire an attorney to fight this charge. If you don't, Florida will suspend your license (if they haven't already) even if you are in another state. Call an attorney in the area where you got the ticket.
