Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
Who should be held responsible?
If I allowed someone to borrow my car and they got into an accident and were found to be at fault for the accident, can I take them to court to try to obtain the deductible the insurance company is requiring to get my car fixed. The person whom borrowed the car said he would pay the money but 5 months have passed and i have only seen $20.

Re: Who should be held responsible?
Yes. You do appear to have a cause of action, most likely in small claims court. This can be a complicated scenario that may require more in-depth analysis, i.e, if there is another car person involved, you may have some exposure to liability for their damages. Please feel free to
