Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
Hello, I was involved in an accident yesterday where I ran a red light I did not and t-boned another driver. I had proof of insurance at the scene of the accident but then later found out my insurance was canceled that day at 12:01am. The other driver in the accident was 40+ but he had learners license and the passenger only had a state I.D. Neither of the people in the other car owned the car and they did not have insurance either. I received a red light traffic ticket of course. I reviewed the scene of the accident today and traffic light is covered with brush up until about 25 feet from the light. Where do I sit with my insurance and the other drivers circumstance? Is there anyway I can get back into coverage? What course of legal action do I have against the blind spot on the trees where the light is?

You need to talk to a civil attorney about any blind spots and suits against the city where this happened. Your insurance company may be able to help too.
