Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
I went to jail on failure 2 appear(driving on suspended license ticket in florida).my court appointed lawyer got me 3 months time served for the unpaid fine and failure to appear. how can they suspend my license for a unpaid fine that i got time served on, I thought i paid with my butt in a jail cell for 3 months

The DMV doesn't care how much jail time you did, they only want their money and that is separate from what happened on your case. Unfortunately, they make the rules on license issues (literally), so Florida DMV will not reissue you a license until you've paid all outstanding fines and any reinstatement fee. Sorry.
