Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
I have a Jeep wrangler and never have the doors on it. I like to hang my left foot out of the door, no straight out, just let it dangle. Is this illegal? I had a police officer tell me that this is considered riding on the external of the vehicle. Again, is it illegal to hang my foot out of the door while driving down the road?

It's a close call. I say no, but a judge could very well say it is. My advice is why chance it, especially if you get stopped by this police officer or any officer for that matter. If you got money to burn on fines and/or an attorney to fight it, then keep doing it.
