Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
what the law on stopping on the side of the road to let someone out of the car? buses do it ever day when they drop kids off.

Shoulders are meant for emergency use only. Letting someone out of the car doesn't appear to be a problem though. If you were cited, I'd be curious to see what statute they used because I have never heard of anyone ever being cited for anything related to this. As far as buses go, they are allowed to do it as part of their driving duties.
