Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
Leaving the scene
I was in an accident, my fault, there were no injuries. I got out and tried to exchange insurance info but the other driver insisted on waiting for the police. Since I had been drinking earlier i was afraid that I might get a DUI. When he turned onto another road to get out of traffic, I fled the scene. Now I'm scared and dont know what to do.

Re: Leaving the scene
Get a lawyer to assist you with turning yourself in. Its probably better to do so now than to have the police come to your door or to come and arrest you at work if you have already been identified.
