Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
Miami Police say my car was involved in a hit-and-run. I was not driving. They want the driver and the car brought in for questions and examination. Do I have the right to see the incident report before complying? Do I need legal representation at this point?

Yes you need legal representation. Even though you may have a defense, by going there by yourself, you expose yourself to THEIR interpretation of what happened, and you may end up in jail. If they are doing an investigation, then you do not have the right to see it, until they are completed with that. Without your statement, it won't be completed, but that is for the best. You need to talk to a Miami attorney today to assist you.
