Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

My minor son got a citation in green cove springs florida, for being a spectator of a drag race and a tresspass warning. The police pulled up before the race the 2 cars that were going to race just back up on to the side. The officers ask who was racing. none of the kids would admitt to racing,

Sor the officer gave all the kids a citation for being spectators. Is this legal if the police never saw a race? Just for further information 1. They had the citation address wrong, 2.They marked it as a criminal offence it's nt it's a civil offence. 3. the officer never saw the race but had his dash camera on

What should I do?

He needs to get a lawyer. This is a criminal offense and he could go to jail. Furthermore, he could lose his license or his ability to get a license because of this. The consequences are too great, so don't delay in contacting an attorney today.
