Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
IS IT POSSIBLE TO plead "no contest" to a speeding ticket, thereby not having to pay the fine or register the points, just pay court costs? This occurred on Interstate 75 in Alachua County.

No contest has the same effect as a guilty plea. You need to talk to an attorney in Alachua county to be sure, but you may be able to ask the judge to lower the fine.
