Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
Can the police in Florida pull you over legally if their computer says that my vehicle is not registered with the state even though it was and it is. Apparently the computer gave false information prior to being pulled over.

Police can rely on what is called the "good faith doctrine," which in essence means that if they receive information that they believe to be true when they receive it (in your case wrong computer information), then they can legally pull you over. Of course, they can't just pull you over for no reason, but if they have a reason that later turns out to be false, then unfortunately that is legal.
