how long can a police officer follow you in the pinellas county FL? i was given a traffic ticket and the cop told me he had been following me since the county of north of where i was pulled over which is about 10-15 miles. someone told me they can only follow you for 3 miles...

They can follow you as long as they want. However, the length of time could be considered by the Court if the basis of the traffic stop was raised in Court.
