Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

Got pulled over in November, discovered my license was suspended, did some research, turns out license was revoked in April, and reinstated in may. Never got any document s due to the frequent moves this year. Mom had lecumia, dad had pulmonary fibrosis. After many months and hardship both parents got transplants and survived. My initial court date was 12/9, I arrived early and when called by bailiff was informed I was not on the doccot. After an hour taking to criminal department I was informed I would recieve notice in the mail. I never got it, don't know why, but a warrent was issued after missing court and I served it. Paid everything got license fixed and going to court on Wednesday, pretty sure I can claim invalid license not suspended. Any advice helps.

You can contact the clerk to have the warrant removed. However, understand that it is always YOUR responsibility to keep your license AND registration AND voter ID and all other documentation up to date. Moving and sickness is NOT a valid reason as far as the court is concerned. Also a good idea to get an attorney to help you.
