Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
I received a citation for having a plastic cover over my license plate Florida statute 316.605(1). None of the lettering on the license plate was obstructed or impossible to read from 100 feet. Can the court still conclude that the license plat was defaced or obstructed.

Short answer is that a court can conclude anything it wants. That said, so long as the cover was clear and the lettering visible and clearly legible from a distance, then you have a defense. I suggest you get an attorney to help you fight this.
