Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

i received two tickets in miami, FL for improper tail lights because the ones on the car were tinted, however you can see the lights turn red and white when needed and the signal lights work good as well, i looked up the statutes and in neither did i find the lights cant be tinted. it just says shall be equipped with at least two taillamps mounted on the rear, which, when lighted as required & An object, material, or covering that alters the taillamp's visibility from 1,000 feet may not be placed, displayed, installed, affixed, or applied over a taillamp. which on our car its visible what light is going off do you think i can take this to court printed stating what it says because we have no money to pay the tickets or buy new lights
