Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
I recieved a letter in the mail saying I had a delinquent parking ticket in Tampa, FL on April 2, 2010. Thing is, Ive never been to Tampa. I was working that day, here in Jacksonville. How do they have my license and make and model of my car, even though I was not there? What can I do to fight this?

Luckily, Due Process entitles you to a hearing to fight even small traffic tickets like this one. Normally, you contact the clerk of the court and tell them you want to fight the ticket. Your situation will be a little more difficult because the time to request the hearing has come and past (not your fault, I know, just makes it a little more of a pain).
You can 1. Just pay the ticket, or 2. Fight the ticket. A Tampa Criminal Attorney would cost money, but it would help.
