Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
I recieved a traffic citation for speeding. I went to the pretrial and pled NOT GUILTY. On my trial date the case was postponed but I asked the judge if I could make a motion to dismiss because there were many mistakes on the citation. she stated it was too late to make a motion. I always thought a motion could be made at almost anytime. can you tell me if the judge was correct

The judge has a lot of discretion but the judge was probably wrong. Your best bet is to hire an attorney who will make the motion for you. It's worth the investment.
