Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
Would a red light ticket camera be triggered by just going over the first line of the cross walk and not running the light? I was stopped on the first line of the cross walk as the light went red because I couldn't go through (or else create gridlock in the intersection) but it went through 2 cycles of red lights before I can go. I don't know if it was a red light camera but now I fear 2 tickets. What is the truth?

Very "technically" once you cross the crosswalk after the light turns red, then you would be in violation. That said, if you stop there, many (but not all) judges would not find you guilty based on those facts.
