Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
Son was cited in a accident by state trooper, we have a witness that says the driver was speeding and switched lanes then hit my son in the rear. The state trooper says that my son had not established the lane yet, that he had made a right turn in front of driver. Who would the insurance or court system believe?

Whether it's a ticket you're fighting or the insurance company, it all comes down to whose story makes the most sense. Since the officer did not see the accident, his report only has a small bearing on the insurance case, and no bearing on the infraction, if any. I suggest you get an attorney for both.
