Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

Son needs FL license....reply

He had an accident in FL, which is what started all of this. He is coming back to PA, but I hate to see this hanging over his head forever. The warrant is for 30 days, which he doesnt want to do time.

NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

I am unsure exactly what you are asking. If there is a warrant for your son's arrest, he must answer to it. If not, it will catch up to him in the future and will only be worse. You can rest assured that the only guarantee is that it will not go away if ignored.

Your son should retain an attorney to represent him in this matter. An attorney might be able to work out some sort of plea to avoid any jail. It does seem that there is more to this that you stated as a person does not usually get sentenced to jail for an accident.
