Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
My son was riding an ATV of a friends on private property. There was no licensed driver closely supervising. The ATV governor was turned off by my son. There was an incident where the ATV ended up with some cosmetic damage. The mother of that owns the ATV says she expects us to pay for the damage. This question is to find out if we are legally liable for the damages to the ATV?

If your minor son damages property whether it be an ATV or bicycle or a Transformer set, you as the parent can be held civilly liable. It's just that with an ATV the damages will most likely be higher.
