Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
I got a speeding ticket going 79 in a 45 (right off the highway) it says I have a mandatory court date. Can I fight this? Will I get points ?

You need to get an attorney to help you with this. The attorney will usually be able to keep the points off for you, if not possible dismissal. Furthermore, with an attorney you don't have to go to court unless your attorney requires it.

If you plead to this without an attorney, you have a very good chance of getting points on your license! A lawyer will be able to review your case, determine if you can fight it and maybe even help keep points off your record.
