Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

i'm in st pete beach florida and got a parking ticket in lazarillo park. the sign said parking for park users only i was using the park with friends we took a break to go to the restroom at a nearby hotel because their are no restrooms at the park when we got back we had a ticket can we fight this and win scince we were park users?

Yes you can fight this. Parking tickets aren't often fought because usually there is no defense, but I have personally been successful. However, you need to review the statute or ordinance you were charged under to make sure you didn't miss some other part of the ordinance that the officer may proceed on.
