Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
In the state of florida an electric scooter or e-bike is considered a bicycle as long as it is both manual (peddled) and motor powered not over 750 watts, does not exceed 20 mph and the seat is at least 25 inches from the ground. My question is: If the electric scooter or e-bike resembles a motor cycle type scooter (not a wheel chair) is it safe to assume that it can be operated with out a valid drivers license, under manually only powered bicycle laws?

So long as it meets the other requirements, it doesn't matter what it looks like.
