Out of state license

My husband got pulled over by a Brooksville Florida police officer and his license was suspended by NY on Nov 2, 2007, he was pulled over Nov 4th 2007. They took his license and kept it telling us he couldn't have it back. New York court judge tells me different. What now

He will need to appear in court for the hearing on whatever citation he received. He can be there in person or hire an attorney to represent him and appear for him. At that time, you can ask for the return of your license if you are entitled to it.

Be sure to have applicable law to support your position that you are entitled to get your license back. If the judge in New York says you are entitled to get it back, try to get a letter from the judge saying so.
