Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

Suspended Drivers License

I moved to Florida about two years ago and I was a slacker and kept my NJ drivers license until it was about to expire. When I went to the DMV they told me my license was suspended in NJ. I called the NJ DMV and they told me That I had fines that were unpaid. I explained that the fines were in fact paid and the cities the infractions happened in would advise them of that. They told me to get reciepts and mail them in, but I'm being told by the city that the fines are shown as satified but are to old to print out a paid reciept. What can I do?
