Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
i was ticketed in gainesville, florida for an open container violation. missed the court date and was issued a warrant for my arrest. i turned myself in as soon as i found out. i spent the night in jail and was released the next morning with a small fine. it says on my fdle printout that it was a felony, or did i misunderstand it

Open container is definitely not a felony. So you probably misunderstood something. You should contact the clerk in Gainesville just to be sure.
