Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

traffic accident

I was in accident about a month ago, i already got the police report it was the other guys fault, but he was a minor driving without insurance. The parents say he does not live with them and the insurance company refuses to pay me, i have a lawyer but he does not seem to be doing anything is there any possible way i could fire him and do something to get my money. Or just get my money faster.

If you are not happy with the services of your attorney you could most certianly fire him. If you wished to do that I would put it in writing and ask for a copy of your file.

If he is a minor and the parents claim that he stole the car we would have to find some way to bring the parents into the case by showing that they knew or should have known that he would be driving.

I am not sure if you have Uninsured Motorist coverage but that may be another option.
