Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
About two weeks ago I changed installed green headlights in my car, don't ask me why. Three days I was pulled over by an officer in my city who let me off with a warning that I had to fix them asap. I intended to put the stock lights back in immediately, but between work and school I simply didn't have the time. Last night I was pulled over by an officer of another city who promptly gave me a ticket for having improper equipment. About 20 minutes later as I was heading home the same officer who gave me warning pulled me over and wrote me another ticket for the same reason, saying he'd already given me a break. Essentially I got slapped with two $120 tickets in less than half an hour for the same reason.
My question is, is it worth it to take them to court? I fixed the lights this morning, but I'm a college student and I pay for school out of my own pocket. I don't know how I can afford to pay for these tickets. Do you think the judge will understand? Thanks for your advice.

Show the judge you fixed the problem. While that probably won't dismiss the charge the judge could use that as mitigation.
