can assests be frozen ?

just found out a the wishes of my father in his will are invalid. His 2nd wife is filing a lawsuit for 1/3 of money he wanted his children to have. Can she have our assests frozen? I have not been formally informed of the lawsuit.

Yes, in Florida a disinherited spouse has a right to claim 30% of all assets.

As his wife she is entitled to certain assets and a certain prercentage of the estate.
