If a attorney dies in the middle of taking care of your case, what do i do then

All attorneys are required to have someone to come in and 1. finish up their cases; 2. forward cases to various attorneys to complete 3. close out the files and accounts. You will probably receive a letter in the mail stating that your file has been forwarded to so and so and that they will be handling your case unless you would prefer for someone else.

The Personal Representative also has the right to hire and fire their attorney. So the PR could go out an hire someone new to continue the case.
