Attorney's Fees in Flordia

In a Probate / Guardianship case of an incapacitated ward where the court orders a guardian ad litem to review the parent / guardians Petition, the guardian ad litem fulfills the duty and is court order an amount to receive as payment (this is not a ''free'' GAL)for her time and is discharged, is the GAL entitled to interest on the money ordered? The GAL waited several months for payment, and is demanding interest, is this permitted?
